Angel Cat on Cloud was done in honor of a special cat named Scout. Scout lived in Atlanta and liked to hang outside on my sister in law’s porch. (My sister in law is one of the biggest and most generous animal lovers I know.) He was an unofficial member of the family.

Happily, my husband and I had a chance to meet Scout when we went for a visit a few years ago. He was a very sweet cat who liked to be petted and nuzzled.

Sadly, Scout was hit by a car and passed away. In my mind, Scout is up in heaven acting as a guardian kitty angel for other cats on earth when he’s not enjoying yummy treats, pets and other kitty goodies.
