Pop Art Squirrel is one of the first pieces I did when I began selling my art and photography on PODs (print on demand). It was also one of the first pieces I sold from both my Cafepress and Zazzle shops.
Although its been said that squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails and better PR, I still find them adorable! They’re one of my favorite animals to photograph. Besides they’re cuteness, it sometimes seems like they’re posing for the camera!

I also have a soft spot for pop art (and most anything 60’s related really.) I can’t quite tell you why, but I think its the combination of bright colors and the reimaging of every day objects and people in creative ways.
Although I’ve acquired new art skills and can now make more sophisticated designs, Pop Art Squirrel remains one of my favorite pieces and will always have a special place in my heart.
